Denny Hamlin decides to win the race instead of going to his scheduled knee surgery appointment (he'll have surgery Wednesday instead). Joey Logano follows him through a mess from seemingly nowhere to a 2nd place finish, and Greg Biffle is the only driver in the Cup series who has scored a Top 10 in every race this year. He'll enjoy being that awesome statistic for 12 days heading into a bye week. Good job, dudes! Also strong, missing top honors by just 3 points is Lou. A wonderful use of Joey Logano, and an acceptable finish for Ryan Newman after his recent troubles. Harland and Michelle were also strong in the 320 bracket, and leader HB2 and Nate were also above 300. Whoa, Nate was up there, too? --Yeah, expect a HUGE release from Open Bar Racing. Hangin' Tough for 5 weeks now, HB2 is the man up top. Still holding an average finish better than 10, and shows no signs of slowing down. What a sweet wave of momentum to ride into the bye week. Amy also has to be ecstatic about this, ranking 2nd in Average Finish. Being 2nd in points is cool and all, but with bonus races factored in and stuff, its "easy" for someone to be up there who shouldn't necessarily be there. But Average Finish, wow, thats a whole 'nother story. Harland is coming for Huber, picking up 3 spots to move into 3rd. Mookie stays at 4th, Big Al is up to 5th, and Jay drops 4 spots, out of the Top 5. Skunk Ape Racing (or 'Skunk Ape Racing Squad' as they now prefer to be called; 'SARS' for short..) sits in 3rd, ready to pounce and reclaim the lead.
