Originally designed for Distributorless ignition systems(DIS), any car can benefit from the long life high performance features as well as the top fuel efficiency over the extended life of this plug. Resistor plugs minimize electronic interference and can aid in reducing electrode erosion. Copper core aids in cooling and improves resistance to fouling. &Quot;Retire Your Ride is encouraging people to take action and help improve the air quality in Saskatchewan," said Jen Antony, Retire Your Ride co-ordinator with the Saskatchewan Environmental Society, which operates the program in Saskatchewan. "The program appeals not only to Canadians' environmental conscience, but provides economic benefit as well." Antony said there are about 20 participating recyclers in Saskatchewan, who must first acquire training. Upon acceptance in the program, Saskatchewan residents have several options for reimbursement. They can receive $300 cash, up to $450 toward a commuter bicycle, a coupon for a $500 mobility scooter, a $1,000 travel voucher from Saskatchewan Transportation Co., a 12-month bus pass in Prince Albert or a six-month bus pass in Saskatoon. There are also rebates offered through several Saskatchewan car dealers: $500 to $1,500 on various new model Chryslers, up to $1,000 off on Hyundai models and up to $1,300 savings on a 2010 Mazda 5.
