1994 mustang GT 5.0L V8 Crankshaft pulley: does it need to be pressed on?
Answer:It is not a Press fit in the machine work sense. it is put on with a woodruff key in a slot for alignment and screwed onto the crank by a bolt into the center of the crank.
It is best removed by a Harmonic balancer puller available at most auto stores for loan or rent when you buy the replacement parts from them. Unless you blow up your motor monthly there is no need to buy one.
